‍Osteopathy is a general treatment which includes manual techniques such as manipulation, stretching and soft tissue techniques. Osteopathy increases mobility, relieves tension and enhances blood supply to the affected area. It aims to reduce the body's inflammatory responses and ultimately reduce the pain you are in. Treatment will not be painful so you do not have to worry about this.

What can I expect from my initial consultation?

During your first appointment at our osteopathic clinic, we will discuss your medical history, symptoms and general health. This will determine whether a GP referral is appropriate. Your first appointment will last around 30 minutes. This includes the examination of relevant joints, muscles and treatment.

Our osteopathy treatment aims to reduce inflammation, muscle spasms and provide you significant relief. We use a range of techniques including some gentle joint movements, light and firm pressures applied to relevant muscle tissues and some clicking if you are comfortable with this. The cost of your first consultation is £49 and £46 for subsequent treatments.
